Learn about exciting new database acquisitions in two upcoming 50-minute sessions for History faculty and graduate students. We will cover the same databases/topics in both sessions, so if interested you need attend only one session.

Session #1: Wednesday, Nov. 4 from 10:00-10:50 a.m. - GH913 (fishbowl)
Session #2: Thursday, Nov. 5 from 2:00-2:50 p.m. - GH913 (fishbowl)

The following databases will be among those discussed:

  • ArchiveGrid - Track down important archives for your next research project
  • New York Times Historical w/ Index - Use the power of controlled vocabulary to search the most important historical newspaper archive
  • Empire Online - A collection of primary documents in Empire Studies
  • Sixties: Primary Documents and Personal Narratives
We will also have time to discuss current database trials, the state of collection development, and any other library topics you might have. Hope to see you there!
