Temple Book Club Discussion of The Reluctant Fundamentalist
April 23, 12:30 p.m., Paley Library, Room 137

The Reluctant Fundamentalist explores the personal and the political through the character of Changez, a young Pakistani. It is told in a single monologue of Mohsin Hamid’s richly woven text. Hamid made the Man Booker Prize for Fiction Shortlist, the UK's annual celebration of the finest in fiction. The book was also named one of 2007’s best by Amazon.com. Come discuss this moving novel with the book club.
