British Newspapers Archive

TU Libraries now has access to British Newspapers, 1600-1900, a digital archive of newspapers and pamphlets from throughout the British Isles printed between 1600 and 1900. 

Comprised of two collections - 17th and 18th Century Burney Collection Newspapers and 19th Century British Library Newspapers - this database represents one of the largest and most comprehensive collections of early English news media, offering insights into the development of the British press as well as the many literary circles.
